Arrest - Officers assaulted

Sheila A. Celentano, 43, of Franklin called 9-1-1 for
unknown reasons.  She appearedintoxicated upon officers making contact with her.  She engaged officers by what she herself
described as "karate kicks" and struck Patrolman Schneider andSergeant Robert Vander Ploeg in the performance of their duties. She continued
to fight with the officers and resist arrest throughout the entire encounter.

While in police custody, the female continued to kick andpunch Officer Schneider, causing damage to his portable radio.

Celentano was found to have a $500 criminal warrant from
Dover Municipal Court for failing to appear to answer to a disorderly conductsummons.

Celentano was charged with 2C:12-1b(5)(a) Aggravated Assault
on a Law Enforcement Officer (two counts) a crime of the fourth degree,2C:17-3b(1) Criminal Mischief a disorderly persons offense, 2C:29-2a(1)
Resisting Arrest a disorderly persons offense, 2C:29-1a Obstruction ofGovernmental Function a disorderly persons offense, and 191-1 Maintaining a
Nuisance on Residential Property a borough ordinance violation.
